Scope of Application
The heavy-duty Strip Fuse-Switch Disconnector is a premier, space-saving power distribution solution precision-engineered to deliver exceptionally safe load-breaking, positive circuit isolation, and robust overcurrent protection. It is uniquely tailored to accommodate high-density layouts and satisfy the severe operational safety requirements found across various critical commercial, utility, and heavy industrial electrical networks worldwide:
Urban Grid Cable Distribution: Primarily used and heavily relied upon in urban Cable Distribution Cabinets (CDC), localized pillar boxes, and outdoor cable branch boxes for underground urban power network distribution. Its robust construction and reliable environmental resilience allow it to effectively maintain a continuous, uncompromised electricity supply to densely populated residential and municipal zones, easily overcoming strict street-side footprint limitations.
Transformer Substations: Specifically installed and seamlessly integrated on the low-voltage (LV) main distribution side of compact, prefabricated, or box-type substations. It serves as a highly efficient power management interface designed to safely control, measure, and distribute energy across multiple independent outgoing feeder circuits while optimizing thermal dissipation and maximizing space efficiency inside tight kiosk enclosures.
Industrial Power Distribution: Perfectly ideal for heavy-duty industrial main switchboards, complex machinery distribution panels, and centralized motor control centers (MCC). It is meticulously engineered for challenging environments where high-density vertical installation is mandatory to save valuable cabinet floor space, drastically simplify multi-tier busbar configurations, and provide modular flexibility for rapid plant expansion.
Renewable Energy Systems: Broadly applied in the primary direct-current or alternating-current combiner boxes, central inverter panels, and sub-distribution frames of large-scale photovoltaic (solar) fields and wind power plants. It offers highly dependable overcurrent protection and unmistakable physical isolation gaps under high-stress, fluctuating load conditions typical of clean energy infrastructures.
Commercial & Infrastructure: Extensively deployed in large commercial shopping complexes, high-rise smart buildings, international airport terminals, subway stations, and traffic tunnels for the highly reliable protection of primary low-voltage power distribution lines. It guarantees maximum operational uptime, successfully prevents catastrophic cascading electrical faults, and ensures the absolute safety of maintenance personnel during routine on-site field inspections.

Normal working conditions
Ambient Temperature:The upper limit of the ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40°C, and the lower limit shall not be below -5°C.
Altitude:The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2,000 m above sea level.
Humidity:At a maximum ambient temperature of +40°C, the relative humidity of the air shall not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures; for example, up to 90% at +20°C. Appropriate measures shall be taken to prevent condensation caused by occasional temperature variations.
Pollution Degree:The pollution degree of the surrounding environment shall be Grade 3.
Installation Conditions:The switch shall be installed vertically in a location free from significant shaking, impact, vibration, rain, or snow. The installation site shall be free from explosive hazardous media and shall not contain gases or dust in concentrations sufficient to corrode metal parts or impair insulation performance.

Structural features
The switch consists of a base, mounting base, cover, operating handle, and protective shield. The NT series fuse link is mounted on the base and can be used directly as a switch disconnector in place of a conventional knife switch.
The operating handle rotates in an arc around the pivot point of the base, driving the cover and fuse link assembly to perform opening and closing operations. The switch provides a large isolation distance and a clearly visible break, meeting the requirements of an isolation switch.
The mounting base and the base can be easily detached, allowing safe and reliable installation on busbars. Arc extinguishing grids are installed on the base to ensure excellent arc suppression performance and high breaking capacity.
